By now you've probably given up hope of ever seeing anything new from me in the form of squiggly lines on white paper and frankly so have I. It's not that I've laid off drawing, it's just that I don't sit down and do it anymore. Why? No idea. Lack of motivation is probably the best explanation. The art community has grown so immensly large and there are countless of talents out there, not just on the web but also in school where I experience it firsthand.

It's like you've lived in the jungle all your life, thought up the idea to construct an aircraft to make you fly, move into civilization only to discover it's been done countless of times before and suddenly you're not feeling as clever.

The chance of being even mildly recognized on this community is also microscopical and you'd have to be one of those rabid art-freaks with slight autism to develop the skills that some artists have, in particular the younger ones, ages 14+. It's not just discouraging to see these kid's art giving you the finger but also humiliating in the way similar to a granny beating your ass with a few karate chops and a lipstick.

Frustrating as it might be, I'll stick around. I might even upload some new art eventually, but right now I just don't see that kind of scenario, where Inspiration just flies into my room and knocks me over the head with a bat.
